As a co-humanist, I don't hate augmentation, only against the ones that aren't grounded in nature and objective reality which is most of them.
I'm fine with augmentation if it's grounded in objective reality and nature, people who do different augmentation that is not grounded in reality, I think they are delusional and possibly trying to escape the reality, that's why I pitty them rather than hate!!!
I also think that humans are indeed "envy of the universe", but imo they aren't the only one and there are possibly other " Envy's of the universe" Out there.
And btv, if you ever gonna become something else as a transhumanist, you shouldn't become something lesser than human but something equal but different than human in a natural and more grounded in objective reality way rather than aloof and out of touch way of regular transhumanist augmentation which are (mostly)bad.
