EP XIX - Transhumanism Debate

This episode of the Meta Cast I am joined by Tracing Woodgrains, a self proclaimed transhumanist, to debate transhumanism. I want to first say that I appreciate him being willing to come on and discuss the topic as it is not every day you get to have a civil discussion between two opposing camps.

It is my first time debating a transhumanist and I found a lot of value getting to hear the arguments out long form and having someone willing to take the time to address further points and questions. I am in the process of writing an article on transhumanism and this discussion was very helpful in understanding how transhumanists frame their arguments and where the disagreements are.

I hope you find this discussion interesting. I believe the debate between pro human optimization and transhumanism will one of, if not the most, important issues of the coming era and it will be important to understand both sides and what they offer.
